Welcome to Southern Maryland CrossFit.  We are southern Maryland's first CrossFit affiliate and we started in 2008.  We believe we are southern Maryland's best CrossFit affiliate as well.  We offer everything you need to get the results you have always wanted.  Why do we think this?  Let's look at some evidence about what we do better than the competition.

We offer (but do not require) Elements classes for those who might be new to CrossFit or even have no idea what it really is.  We offer two introductory packages to get you acclimated to our facility because not all CrossFit's are created equal.  Come in and learn the difference actual coaching, programming, and nutrition can make in getting you the results you are after.  Come try us out for a week or a month at an introductory price.   We offer the most CrossFit class times in the area with the multiple coaches on hand during those class times.  Our coaches not only have multiple certifications but have the most coaching experience in the area not only with CrossFit but also the strength sports that CrossFit draws upon.

If you are an experienced CrossFitter we have options for you as well.  We offer supplemental specialty classes to make you even better at weightlifting and/or powerlifting.  We also program for those looking to just look better naked  or improve their health (Fitness) and for those who have chosen to compete in CrossFit (Performance or Sport).

All of these things lead us to belive that we have the best strength and conditioning program in the area and this is why we are the right affiliate for you.

World Class Fitness in 100 words:
"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports." -Coach Glassman
